DTC B2274: ACC Monitor Malfunction [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BATTERY - POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU) 

    See step  1

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR IN CIRCUIT CONNECTED TO POWER SOURCE 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - BODY GROUND) 

    See step  2

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. INSPECT DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (ACC RELAY) 
    1. Disconnect the 2A and 2D driver side junction block assembly connectors.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      2A-48 - 2D-4 20°C (68°F) 50.63 to 123.75 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Driver Side Junction Block Assembly)

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) 

    Result: 

    OK

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the 2A and 2D driver side junction block assembly connectors.
    2. Disconnect the G39 power management control ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G39-19 (ACCD) - 2A-48 Always Below 1 Ω
      2D-4 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G39-19 (ACCD) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  5. CHECK POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU 
    1. Connect the power management control ECU connectors.

      (Power Management Control ECU)

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      G39-19 (ACCD) - Body ground Engine switch off 1 V or less
      Engine switch on (ACC) 8.5 V or higher

    Result: 

    OK 

    SYSTEM RETURNED TO NORMAL (DTC STORED DUE TO BAD CONNECTION, BUT SYSTEM RETURNED TO NORMAL BY RECONNECTING CONNECTOR) 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU
