Customize Parameters [08/2019 - ]

  1. CUSTOMIZE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.
    1. Customizing with the Multi-information Display
      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Enter the following menus: Settings Tab / Settings / Pre-collision System Settings.
      3. Select the setting by referring to the table below.
      4. Using the steering pad switches, change the customize settings.
        PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM SETTINGS

        Display Description Setting Default
        PCS Turns the pre-collision system function on/off. ON/OFF ON
        Sensitivity Sets the pre-collision system function warning sensitivity Early/Middle/Late Middle
    2. Customizing with the Techstream

      HINT: 

      The following items can be customized.

      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Others.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Customize Setting Description Setting
        PCS Function ON/OFF State Stored Function to maintain the pre-collision system on/off setting when the power switch is turned off and then to on (IG). Not Stored: Not maintained (Pre-collision system always turns on)

        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 1 Function to maintain the sensitivity setting of the pre-collision system when the pre-collision system is turned off and then on. Not Stored: Not maintained (Setting changes to "Middle")

        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 2 Function to maintain the sensitivity setting of the pre-collision system when the power switch is turned off while the pre-collision system is on. Not Stored: Not maintained (Setting changes to "Middle")
