DTC C1240-00: Yaw Rate Sensor / Multi-axis Acceleration Sensor Module "A" [03/2019 - 01/2023]: Procedure

1. Check that the part number of the installed yaw rate and acceleration sensor is correct.

   OK

   Yaw rate and acceleration sensor installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] 

Result: 

OK

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Operate the Techstream to clear the codes. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Trouble Codes.

   Chassis > Brake > Clear DTCs 

4. Press the DTC clear button.
5. Turn the engine switch off.

   Result

   Proceed to
   NEXT

Result:

1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
2. Read the DTCs following the prompts on the Techstream. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Brake / Trouble Codes.

   Chassis > Brake > Trouble Codes 

3. Check if the same DTC is output.
