Terminals Of Ecu [09/2014 - ]

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Position Memory System)

    1. Disconnect the S3 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S3-11 (B) - S3-12 (GND) LG - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      S3-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the S3 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      S3-15 (DOWN) - S3-12 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V

      S3-18 (LED) - S3-12 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      S3-18 (LED) - S3-12 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch off Below 1 V
      S3-20 (UP) - S3-12 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      S3-20 (UP) - S3-12 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
  2. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Seat Position Memory System)

    1. Disconnect the S10 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      S10-21 (B) - S10-17 (GND) LG - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

    3. Reconnect the S10 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      S10-22 (UP) - S10-17 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      S10-22 (UP) - S10-17 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the R4 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      R4-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the R4 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      R4-8 (LED) - R4-5 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      R4-2 (UP) - R4-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the S2 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S2-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      S2-2 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the S2 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      S2-5 (LED) - S2-1 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      S2-7 (DOWN) - S2-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      S2-7 (DOWN) - S2-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR FRONT PASSENGER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the R2 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      R2-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      R2-2 (B) - Body ground Y - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
    3. Reconnect the R2 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ]

    2. Reconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-31 (BECU) - Body ground - Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      MB-30 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      MB-30 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
    4. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2014 - ]

    5. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
