Installation [10/2020 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL SUB-BATTERY BRACKET 
    1. Install the sub-battery bracket (positive (+) terminal side) to the sub-battery module assembly with the 2 bolts.

      for bolt A 

      Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 49 in.lbf) 

      for bolt B 

      Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

      Bolt Length

      Item Length (Distance from the Seat)
      Bolt A 10.4 mm (0.41 in.)
      Bolt B 8 mm (0.31 in.)
    2. Install the sub-battery bracket (negative (-) terminal side) to the sub-battery module assembly with the 2 bolts.

      for bolt A 

      Torque: 5.5 N.m (56 kgf/cm, 49 in.lbf) 

      for bolt B 

      Torque: 4.5 N.m (46 kgf/cm, 40 in.lbf) 

      Bolt Length

      Item Length (Distance from the Seat)
      Bolt A 10.4 mm (0.41 in.)
      Bolt B 8 mm (0.31 in.)
  2. INSTALL SUB-BATTERY MODULE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the sub-battery module assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 8.0 N.m (82 kgf/cm, 71 in.lbf) 

    2. Connect the connector to the sub-battery module assembly.
    3. Connect the 2 sub-battery terminals to the sub-battery module assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 8.7 N.m (89 kgf/cm, 77 in.lbf) 

  3. INSTALL CONNECTOR COVER 
    1. Attach the 2 claws and install connector cover to the sub-battery module assembly.
  4. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRAY BRACKET RH 
    1. Attach the clip and install the rear luggage compartment tray bracket RH.
    2. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 6.5 N.m (66 kgf/cm, 58 in.lbf) 

    3. Attach the claw and close the cap.
  5. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER ASSEMBLY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  6. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  9. INSTALL INNER LOWER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. INSTALL REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  11. INSTALL ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX (w/o Air Suspension) 

    See step  15

  13. INSTALL SIDE TRIM BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  14. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  15. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  16. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  17. INSTALL BATTERY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2020 - 10/2023]

  18. INITIALIZATION AFTER RECONNECTING BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to WORK PROCEDURE [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to WORK PROCEDURE [10/2022 - 10/2023]

    HINT: 

    When disconnecting and reconnecting the battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
