Freeze Frame Data [12/2017 - 09/2018]
- FREEZE FRAME DATA
- Whenever a lighting system DTC is stored, the headlight ECU sub-assembly and object recognition camera* stores the current vehicle state as freeze frame data.
- *: w/ AFS (Front-lighting Adaptive System)
- Whenever a lighting system DTC is stored, the headlight ECU sub-assembly and object recognition camera* stores the current vehicle state as freeze frame data.
- CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus:
- Body Electrical / AFS / Trouble Codes.
Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes
- Body Electrical / AFS (Sub) / Trouble Codes.
Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Trouble Codes
- w/ AFS (Front-lighting Adaptive System):

- Select a DTC to display its freeze frame data.

- CLEAR FREEZE FRAME DATA NOTE:
Clearing the DTCs will also clear the freeze frame data.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Clear the DTCs and freeze frame data.
- Enter the following menus:
- Body Electrical / AFS / Clear DTCs.
Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs
- Body Electrical / AFS (Sub) / Clear DTCs.
Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Clear DTCs
- w/ AFS (Front-lighting Adaptive System):
Body Electrical / Front Recognition Camera (Front Lighting Control) / Clear DTCs.
