Removal [04/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2013 - 06/2014] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2014 - 08/2015] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2016 - 10/2017] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2017 - 09/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2022 - 10/2023] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2023 - ]

  2. REMOVE CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 10/2016] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [11/2021 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [04/2013 - 08/2015] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33 [09/2020 - 09/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34 [09/2022 - ]

  4. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR 
    1. Disengage the wire harness clamp from the yaw rate sensor bracket.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the yaw rate sensor.
    3. Remove the 2 nuts and yaw rate sensor.
      NOTE:
      • Do not drop the yaw rate sensor.
      • If the yaw rate sensor is dropped, replace it with a new one.
  5. REMOVE YAW RATE SENSOR BRACKET 
    1. Disengage the wire harness clamp (A) from the yaw rate sensor bracket.

    2. w/ Navigation System:
      1. Disengage the wire harness clamp (B) from the yaw rate sensor bracket.
    3. Remove the 3 bolts.
    4. Disengage the 2 claws of the floor carpet, and remove the yaw rate sensor bracket.

      HINT: 

      Remove the yaw rate sensor bracket while avoiding the wire harness.
