DTC P0190-15: Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit Short to Battery or Open [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

Make sure that the connector is properly connected. If it is not, securely connect it and check for DTCs again.

1. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor (for high pressure side) connector.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F113-1 (VC) - F113-2 (E2)	Engine switch on (IG)	4.75 to 5.25 V
   F113-3 (PR) - F113-2 (E2)	Engine switch on (IG)	3.0 to 5.25 V

4. Turn the engine switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
5. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F113-2 (E2) - Body ground	Engine switch off	Below 1 Ω
   F113-1 (VC) - F113-3 (PR)	Engine switch off	171 to 189 kΩ

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pressure sensor (for high pressure side).

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2018 - 09/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2020 - ]

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE FUEL DELIVERY PIPE WITH SENSOR ASSEMBLY LH (FUEL PRESSURE SENSOR (FOR HIGH PRESSURE SIDE)). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - ] 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the fuel pressure sensor (for high pressure side) connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F113-3 (PR) - F102-87 (PR)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F113-2 (E2) - F102-133 (ETHW)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F113-3 (PR) or F102-87 (PR) - Other terminals	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

OK 

REPLACE ECM. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - ]
