    1. Check additional engine sounds generation (SPORT mode)
      1. Start the engine.
      2. Select SPORT S mode.
      3. Move the shift lever to D, M or R. When the vehicle speed is 6 km/h (4 mph) or more and the engine speed is 980 rpm or more, check that additional engine sounds are generated from the No. 2 speaker assembly with box in accordance with the engine speed.

        HINT:

Check the difference in sound when the mode is changed between ECO (not generated), NORMAL (not generated), SPORT S (generated) and SPORT S+ (generated).

    2. Check additional engine sounds generation (SPORT S+ mode)
      1. Start the engine.
      2. Select SPORT S+ mode.
      3. Move the shift lever to D, M or R. When the vehicle speed is 6 km/h (4 mph) or more and the engine speed is 980 rpm or more, check that additional engine sounds are generated from the No. 1 speaker assembly with box or No. 2 speaker assembly with box in accordance with the engine speed.

        HINT:

        • Check the difference in sound when the mode is changed between ECO (not generated), NORMAL (not generated), SPORT S (generated) and SPORT S+ (generated).
        • At engine speeds of 5000 rpm or more, sound generation changes from the No. 2 speaker assembly with box to the No. 1 speaker assembly with box.
    3. Check intake flow noise generation
      1. Start the engine.
      2. Select SPORT S+ mode.
      3. Move the shift lever to P or N.
      4. Apply the parking brake and secure the wheels with wheel chocks.

      6. With the accelerator pedal opening angle between 15% and 70%, increase the accelerator pedal opening angle by 15% or more in 0.01 seconds and check that intake flow noise is generated from the No. 1 speaker assembly with box.

        HINT:

        • Check the difference in sound when the mode is changed between ECO (not generated), NORMAL (not generated), SPORT S (not generated) and SPORT S+ (generated).
        • To generate noise from the No. 1 speaker assembly with box again, decrease the accelerator pedal opening angle to below 10%.
