Installation [10/2018 - 07/2022]: Procedure
- INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH WIRE
- for HV Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- for Gasoline Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
- for HV Model:
- INSTALL TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Shift Paddle Switch)
- for HV Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- for Gasoline Model:
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- for HV Model:
- INSTALL NO. 1 STEERING WHEEL ORNAMENT
- Engage the pin to install the No. 1 steering wheel ornament.
- Install the 2 screws.
- INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL STEERING VIBRATION ECU (w/ Steering Wheel Vibration)
- w/ Steering Heater:

- w/o Steering Heater:
- Connect the connector.
- Install the steering vibration ECU with steering wheel pad bracket LH with the 2 screws.
- Connect the spiral cable connector.
- w/ Steering Heater:
- ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
- INSPECT SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY
- Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft to install the steering wheel assembly.
*a Matchmark - Using a 10 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the steering wheel assembly set bolt.
Torque: 62 N.m (632 kgf/cm, 46 ft.lbf)
- Connect each connector to the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly and steering wheel assembly.
- Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft to install the steering wheel assembly.
- CHECK STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT
- INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY
