Freeze Frame Data [10/2018 - 07/2022]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. When a pre-collision system DTC is stored, the forward recognition camera stores the current vehicle state as Freeze Frame Data.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision System / Trouble Codes.

      Body Electrical > Pre-Collision System > Trouble Codes 

    5. According to the display on the Techstream, select a DTC to display its freeze frame data.

      Body Electrical > Pre-Collision System

      PBA Standby Request: Low pre-collision brake assist requested
      PBA Request Level 1: Medium pre-collision brake assist requested
      PBA Request Level 2: High pre-collision brake assist requested      		 The value changes in accordance with the possibility of a collision. This item indicates the pre-collision brake assist standby status. Whether pre-collision brake assist is applied or not is determined by the depression of the brake pedal.

      PCS Function ON/OFF State Stored Pre-collision system on/off setting when the pre-collision system is turned off and the ignition switch is turned off and then to ON. Not Stored / Stored Stored: Pre-collision system maintains off
      Not stored: Pre-collision system always turns on      		 "PCS Function ON/OFF State Stored" is a customizable item which can be set using the Techstream.
      PCS Warning Timing State Stored 2 Sensitivity setting when the pre-collision system is turned off and the ignition switch is turned off and then to ON. Not Stored / Stored Stored: Sensitivity settings are maintained as previous value
      Not stored: Sensitivity is reset to default setting      		 "PCS Warning Timing State Stored 2" is a customizable item which can be set using the Techstream.
      PCS Warning Timing State Stored 3 Sensitivity setting of the pre-collision system when the pre-collision system is turned off and the then on with the ignition switch ON. Not Stored / Stored Stored: Sensitivity settings are maintained as previous value
      Not stored: Sensitivity is reset to default setting      		 "PCS Warning Timing State Stored 3" is a customizable item which can be set using the Techstream.
      PCS Warning Timing State Stored 1 Sensitivity setting when the pre-collision system is turned on and the ignition switch is turned off and then to ON. Not Stored / Stored Stored: Sensitivity settings are maintained as previous value
      Not stored: Sensitivity is reset to default setting      		 "PCS Warning Timing State Stored 1" is a customizable item which can be set using the Techstream.
