DTC U0142: Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B"; DTC U0155: Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module; DTC U0163: Lost Communication with Navigation Control Module [10/2018 - 10/2019]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2018 - 10/2019]

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTCs are output (for HV Model)	A
   DTCs are output (for Gasoline Model)	B
   DTCs are not output	C

   HINT: 

   • If CAN communication system DTCs are stored, they may also be stored for other systems.
   • If the CAN communication system has been inspected and repaired, these DTCs will not be output when rechecking for DTCs.
   • If these DTCs are output frequently, duplicate the conditions that cause the problem symptoms and perform the inspection again, even though the DTC was not output when rechecking for DTCs.
