Freeze Frame Data [11/2017 - 01/2023]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. Whenever a lane departure alert system (w/ Steering Control) DTC is stored, the forward recognition camera stores the current vehicle state (ECU and sensor information) as Freeze Frame Data.
  2. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / LKA/LDA / Trouble Codes.

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Trouble Codes 

    5. According to the Techstream display, select a DTC that stored freeze frame data.
    6. Read the freeze frame data recorded when the DTC was stored.

      Turn Signal Switch (Left) Turn signal switch (left) status OFF or ON ON: Turn signal light switch on (left)
      OFF: Turn signal light switch off      		 -
      Destination Information - - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used.
      Left Lane Indicator Left lane marker detection status Nothing, Heavy, Thin or H blink Nothing: Lane departure alert system (w/ Steering Control) deactivated
      Heavy: Left lane marker detected
      Thin: Left lane marker not detected
      H blink: Departing from lane      		 -
      Right Lane Indicator Right lane marker detection status Nothing, Heavy, Thin or H blink Nothing: Lane departure alert system (w/ Steering Control) deactivated
      Heavy: Right lane marker detected
      Thin: Right lane marker not detected
      H blink: Departing from lane      		 -
      Skid Control Buzzer Demand Lane departure alert Buzzer Demand Status OFF or ON OFF: Lane departure alert buzzer not operating
      ON: Lane departure alert buzzer operating      		 -
      Vehicle Information (2WD/4WD) - - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used.
      Vehicle Information (Conv/HV) - - - This item is displayed on the Techstream but is not used.
