DTC B153A: GVIF Disconnected (from Extension Module to H/U) [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Turn the engine switch off.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. Press the "MAP" switch and check for DTCs.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK

1. Disconnect the t1 radio receiver assembly connector.

   *a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Navigation ECU)
   *b	Front view of wire harness connector (to Radio Receiver Assembly)

2. Disconnect the t2 navigation ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   t1-1 (GVIF-) - t2-1 (GVIF-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   t1-2 (GVIF+) - t2-2 (GVIF+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   t1-3 (GND) - t2-3 (GND)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result:

REPLACE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE. Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2017 - ]

OK

1. Replace the Navigation ECU with a new one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [11/2017 - ]
