Operation Check [09/2015 - ]

  1. CHECK PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM SETTING 
    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    2. Operate the steering pad switch assembly to select PCS OFF on the multi-information display and check that the PCS OFF indicator light illuminates.

      * a PCS OFF Indicator Light

      HINT: 

      • If the engine switch is turned off with the pre-collision system off, the pre-collision system will turn on when the engine switch is turned on (IG) again.
      • The previous state of the pre-collision system can be retained when the customize setting "PCS Operation State Retention Setting" is set to "ON" using the Techstream. Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [09/2015 - ] .
  2. CHECK PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM SENSITIVITY SETTING 
    1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    2. Operate the steering pad switch assembly to select Change PCS Sensitivity and check that the warning timing adjustment display on the multi-information display changes between "Far", "Mid" and "Near" accordingly.

      HINT: 

      • The selected sensitivity setting will be displayed for 6 seconds on the multi-information display.
      • The default setting is "Mid".
