DTC B241A: Rear Height Control Sensor; DTC B241B: Front Height Control Sensor [10/2017 - 10/2020]: Description

  1. *1: w/ Air Suspension System
  2. *2: w/ Adaptive Variable Suspension System
  3. *3: w/o Adaptive Variable Suspension System

The headlight ECU sub-assembly LH receives the vehicle height value from the absorber control ECU or suspension control ECU*1 via CAN communication and performs auto leveling control.*2

The headlight ECU sub-assembly LH supplies 5 V to the rear height control sensor LH, reads changes in the voltage that occur due to height sensor resistance changes according to the vehicle height, and performs auto leveling control.*3

  1. Power switch on (IG)

Malfunction status: 

  • Abnormal vehicle height value continuously detected from rear height sensor*2
  • Power source voltage malfunction is continuously detected in rear height control sensor LH*3

Malfunction duration: 

  1. 10 seconds or more
 w/ Adaptive Variable Suspension System: 
  • Adaptive variable suspension system
  • Air suspension system (w/ Air Suspension System)

w/o Adaptive Variable Suspension System: 

  • Rear height control sensor sub-assembly LH
  • Headlight ECU sub-assembly
