DTC C1AEA: Steering Angle Midpoint Initial Setting Incomplete [12/2017 - 10/2020]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM CALIBRATION 
    1. Perform steering angle neutral point memorization.

      Refer to CALIBRATION [12/2017 - 10/2020]

      Result

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Using the Techstream, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020]

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs according to the screen on the Techstream.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020]

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2020]

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes 

      HINT: 

      • If DTC C1AEA is output, perform steering angle neutral point memorization.
      • If DTC C1AEA is still output after performing steering angle neutral point memorization 3 times, replace the clearance warning ECU assembly.

    Result: 

    REPLACE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - 10/2022]
