New Key cannot be Registered (Owner Key) [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING GTS (OWNER'S DIGITAL KEY REGISTRATION STATUS) 
    1. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

      Body Electrical > Smart Access > Data List

  2. CLEAR ALL REGISTERED DIGITAL KEYS 
    1. Clear all registered digital keys.

      Refer to REGISTRATION [10/2023 - ]

  3. REGISTER NEW OWNER KEY 
    1. Using the digital key application, perform new registration of the owner key from inside the vehicle.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure there is no electronic device that outputs high-voltage or noise inside or around the vehicle.
      • Make sure that the digital key is not covered by or touching a metal object.

      HINT: 

      Refer to the digital key application.

      Registration can be performed normally

  4. READ VALUE USING GTS (VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (ROB)) 
    1. Perform cause analysis in the following tables.

      Body Electrical > Smart Access > Utility

  5. CHECK SMART ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PUSH-BUTTON START (for Start Function) 
    1. Check the smart access system with push-button start (for Start Function).

      Refer to OPERATION CHECK [10/2023 - ]

    2. Check that electrical key transmitter sub-assembly registration can be performed normally.

      HINT: 

      Refer to REGISTRATION [10/2023 - ]

  6. REPLACE DIGITAL KEY ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the digital key ECU assembly with a new one.

      HINT: 

      Refer to REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]

  7. REGISTER DIGITAL KEY CODE 
    1. Register the digital key code to the digital key ECU assembly.

      NOTE:
      • Make sure there is no electronic device that outputs high-voltage or noise inside or around the vehicle.
      • Make sure that the digital key is not covered by or touching a metal object.

      HINT: 

      Refer to the digital key application.
