Customize Parameters [05/2019 - ]

  1. CUSTOMIZE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM 
    NOTE:
    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
    • Make a note of the current settings before customizing.
    1. Customizing with the multi-information display

      HINT: 

      The following PCS functions and the pre-collision system sensitivity setting can be changed from their default setting.

      1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      2. Change pre-collision system settings by operating steering pad switch.
        SETTINGS

        Customize Setting Description Default Setting
        PCS Function that turns the pre-collision system on or off On On or Off
        Sensitivity Function that selects the warning sensitivity of the pre-collision function Middle Early, Middle or Late
    2. Customizing with the Techstream
      1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
      3. Turn the Techstream on.
      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Others.
      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.

        Customize Setting Description Setting
        PCS Function ON/OFF State Stored Function to maintain the pre-collision system on/off setting when the power switch is turned on (IG) from off with the pre-collision function off. Not stored: Pre-collision system always turns on
        Stored: Pre-collision system maintains off
        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 1 Function to set whether or not to store the warning sensitivity setting when the PCS function is on and the power switch is turned from off to on (IG). Not stored: Sensitivity and CAUTION is reset to default setting
        Stored: Sensitivity and CAUTION settings are maintained as previous value
        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 2 Function to set whether or not to store the warning sensitivity setting when the PCS function is off and the power switch is turned from off to on (IG). Not stored: Sensitivity and CAUTION is reset to default setting
        Stored: Sensitivity and CAUTION settings are maintained as previous value
        PCS Warning Timing State Stored 3 Function to set whether or not to store the warning sensitivity setting when the PCS function is turned from off to on while the power switch is turned on (IG). Not stored: Sensitivity and CAUTION is reset to default setting
        Stored: Sensitivity and CAUTION settings are maintained as previous value
