Fail-Safe Chart [10/2023 - ]

  1. FAIL-SAFE TABLE 
    1. If a malfunction occurs in the system, the DRS ECU (rear steering link assembly) performs the following fail-safe operations.
    DTC Fail-safe Operation Fail-safe Deactivation Conditions
    C0597-94 Rear steering returns to neutral position A normal value is received 2 times consecutively
    C05D6-94 Rear steering returns to neutral position A normal value is received 2 times consecutively
    C1000-1C Rear steering returns to neutral position IG OFF → ON
    C1B11-2B Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B11-96 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B12-13 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B13-2B Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B14-1C During initial check: Rear steering stopped
    During operation: Rear steering returns to neutral position    		 IG OFF → ON
    C1B14-2B During initial check: Rear steering stopped
    During operation: Rear steering returns to neutral position    		 IG OFF → ON
    C1B16-07 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B17-62 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B19-51 Rear steering returns to neutral position Completes normally after rear toe calibration forced operation by valid command
    C1B19-54 Rear steering returns to neutral position Completes normally after rear toe calibration forced operation by valid command
    C1B1A-71 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B21-49 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B25-46 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    C1B26-71 Rear steering stopped IG OFF → ON
    U0100-87 Control continues with alternative values A valid value is received
    U0129-87 Rear steering returns to neutral position A valid value is received
    U0131-87 Rear steering returns to neutral position A valid value is received
    U0418-81 Rear steering returns to neutral position A valid value is received
    U0420-81 Rear steering returns to neutral position A valid value is received
    U1171-87 Rear steering returns to neutral position A valid value is received
