Operation Check [12/2017 - ]

  1. BASIC OPERATION CHECK (for Driver Side) 
    1. Seat belt is fastened:
      1. Open the driver side door
      2. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light illuminates and rises.

        HINT: 

        Rises approximately 50 mm.

      3. Sit in the driver seat and fasten the driver side seat belt to the tongue plate.
      4. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light turns off and descends.
    2. Seat belt is unfastened:
      1. Turn the engine switch off with the driver side seat belt fastened.
      2. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light illuminates and rises.

        HINT: 

        Rises approximately 50 mm.

      3. Unbuckle the driver side seat belt from the tongue plate.
      4. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light turns off and descends.
    3. Seat belt is unfastened:
      1. Open the driver side door.
      2. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light illuminates and rises.

        HINT: 

        Rises approximately 50 mm.

      3. Sit in the driver seat and wait without fastening the driver side seat belt to the tongue plate.
      4. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) descends after approximately 8 minutes and 30 seconds elapse after the driver side door was opened.
      5. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light turns off after approximately 20 minutes has elapsed after the driver side door was opened.
    4. Seat belt is unfastened:
      1. Turn the engine switch off with the driver side seat belt fastened.
      2. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light illuminates and rises.

        HINT: 

        Rises approximately 50 mm.

      3. Close the driver side door.
      4. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) light turns off after approximately 15 seconds have elapsed.
      5. Lock the door using the wireless or entry function.
      6. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly LH (buckle switch) descends.
  2. BASIC OPERATION CHECK (for Front Passenger Side) 
    1. Seat belt is fastened:
      1. Open the front passenger side door.
      2. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) light illuminates and rises.

        HINT: 

        Rises approximately 50 mm.

      3. Sit in the front passenger seat and fasten the front passenger side seat belt to the tongue plate.
      4. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) light illuminates and descends.
    2. Seat belt is unfastened:
      1. Open the front passenger side door.
      2. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) light illuminates and rises.

        HINT: 

        Rises approximately 50 mm.

      3. Sit in the front passenger seat and fasten the front passenger side seat belt to the tongue plate.
      4. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) descends after approximately 8 minutes and 30 seconds elapse after the front passenger side door was opened.
      5. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) light turns off after approximately 20 minutes has elapsed after the front passenger side door was opened.
    3. Seat belt is unfastened:
      1. Open the front passenger side door.
      2. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) light illuminates and rises.

        HINT: 

        Rises approximately 50 mm.

      3. Close the front passenger side door.
      4. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) light turns off after approximately 15 seconds have elapsed.
      5. Lock the door using the wireless or entry function.
      6. Check that the front seat inner belt assembly RH (buckle switch) descends.
