DTC P0125-00: Insufficient Coolant Temperature for Closed Loop Fuel Control [12/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
5. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC P0125-00 is output	A
   DTC P0125-00 and other DTCs are output	B

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than P0125-00 are output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.

GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [12/2017 - 09/2018]

1. Inspect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for outlet side).

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2017 - ]

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor (for outlet side).

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2017 - 10/2020]

   Result

   Proceed to

REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (FOR OUTLET SIDE). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]

1. Inspect the engine coolant temperature sensor (for cylinder head side).

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2017 - ]

   HINT: 

   Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the engine coolant temperature sensor (for cylinder head side).

   Refer to INITIALIZATION [12/2017 - 10/2020]

   Result

REPLACE ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (FOR CYLINDER HEAD SIDE). Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]
