Data Signal Circuit between Navigation Receiver Assembly and Stereo Jack Adapter [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the K119 radio receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the K118 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value (s) in the table below.

      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Radio Receiver Assembly)
      *b Front view of wire harness connector
      (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K119-2 (US1-) - K118-2 (US1-) Always Below 1 Ω
      K119-3 (US1+) - K118-3 (US1+) Always Below 1 Ω
      K119-5 (USG1) - K118-5 (USG1) Always Below 1 Ω
      K119-2 (US1-) or K118-2 (US1-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K119-3 (US1+) or K118-3 (US1+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K119-5 (USG1) or K118-5 (USG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2015 - 09/2017]  , or refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2017 - ]
