Installation [10/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL STEERING VIBRATION AND HEATER ECU 
    1. Connect the connector to the steering vibration and heater ECU.
    2. Install the steering vibration and heater ECU to the lower steering wheel boss cover with the 2 screws.
      NOTE:

      If the heater thermistor comes off the lower steering wheel cover, replace the steering wheel assembly.

    3. Engage the 2 claws to install the lower steering wheel boss cover to the steering wheel assembly.

    4. Install the screw.
    5. w/o Shift Paddle Switch:
      1. Install the 2 screws.

    6. Connect each connector to the steering vibration and heater ECU.
    7. Engage the guide to install the wire harness to the lower steering wheel cover.
  2. INSTALL SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY) (w/ Shift Paddle Switch) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2015 - 07/2020]

  3. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 STEERING WHEEL BOSS COVER (w/ Shift Paddle Switch) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2015 - 07/2020]

  4. INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    See step  1

  5. INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2015 - ]

  6. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD 
  7. INSPECT AND ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2016 - ]

  8. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2015 - 08/2019]
