Data Signal Circuit between Radio Receiver and Stereo Jack Adapter [11/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Disconnect the O162 radio receiver assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the O163 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Radio Receiver Assembly)
      *b Front view of wire harness connector
      (to No. 1 Stereo Jack Adapter Assembly)

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      O162-2 (US1-) - O163-2 (UDO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      O162-3 (US1+) - O163-3 (UDO+) Always Below 1 Ω
      O162-5 (USG1) - O163-5 (UJSS) Always Below 1 Ω
      O162-2 (US1-) or O163-2 (UDO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O162-3 (US1+) or O163-3 (UDO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      O162-5 (USG1) or O163-5 (UJSS) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK
