Initialization [09/2014 - ]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced with a normal one from another vehicle, it is necessary to perform initialization.
      NOTE:
      • If initialization is not performed, it may affect AWD initial performance (acceleration, etc).
      • When the yaw rate sensor (G sensor) is replaced, it is necessary to perform initialization.

      HINT: 

      When the 4WD ECU assembly is replaced with a new one, it is not necessary to perform initialization.

  2. PERFORM INITIALIZATION 
    1. Turn the engine switch off.
    2. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    4. Turn the Techstream on.
    5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Four Wheel Drive / Utility / Reset Memory.

      Chassis > Four Wheel Drive > Utility 

      Tester Display
      Reset Memory
    6. Operate the Techstream to clear the data.
