Operation Check [09/2017 - 05/2019]

  1. CHECK PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM SETTING 
    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    2. Operate the steering pad switch assembly to change the setting of PCS on the multi-information display to "On" and check that the pre-collision system turns on.

      HINT: 

      When the power switch is turned on (IG), the PCS will turn on. This can be changed through a customize setting using the Techstream.

    3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly to change the PCS setting to "Off" and check that the PCS warning light illuminates.

  2. CHECK PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM SENSITIVITY SETTING 
    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    2. Operate the steering pad switch assembly to select Change PCS Sensitivity and check that the warning timing adjustment display on the multi-information display changes between "Far", "Mid" and "Near" accordingly.

      HINT: 

      • Check that the sensitivity setting displayed on the multi-information display changes between "Far", "Mid", and "Near" accordingly.
      • The default setting is "Mid".
      • The Change PCS Sensitivity setting selected before turning the power switch off continues when the power switch is turned from off to on (IG), but this can be changed with customization settings using the Techstream.
