1. Clear the DTC.

1. Disconnect the L33 No. 2 main body ECU connector.
2. Disconnect the R12 map light assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the tables below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L33-23 (MPX) - R12-2 (LIN)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L33-23 (MPX) or R12-2 (LIN) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK

1. Disconnect the map light assembly connectors.

2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the tables below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   R12-20 (GND5) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   R12-17 (GND7) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
   R7-16 (GND9) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

3. Measure the resistance and resistance according to the value(s) in the tables below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   R7-9 (IG) - Body ground	Engine switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG
