- CHECK FRONT SEAT WIRE RH
- Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition e10-6 (PS) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) Below 1 V e10-7 (VPS) - Body ground e10-15 (GPS) - Body ground - Turn the engine switch off.
- Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait for at least 90 seconds.
- Using 2 service wires, connect terminals 3 (VPS) and 1 (GPS), and connect terminals 2 (PS) and 1 (GPS) of connector C.NOTE:
Do not forcibly insert the service wires into the terminals of the connector when connecting the wire.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition e10-6 (PS) - e10-7 (VPS) Always Below 1 Ω e10-7 (VPS) - e10-15 (GPS) - Disconnect the service wires from connector C.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
