Installation [04/2013 - 10/2016]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TILT AND TELESCOPIC SWITCH 
    1. Engage the claw to install the tilt and telescopic switch.
    2. Connect the tilt and telescopic connector to the tilt and telescopic switch.
    3. Connect the airbag connector to the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly.
  2. INSTALL STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Lower Side) 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the steering column cover (lower).
    2. Install the 3 screws.
  3. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD 
  4. INSPECT AND ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [04/2013 - 06/2014] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [06/2014 - 10/2016]

  5. INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY 

    See step  9

  6. CHECK STEERING WHEEL CENTER POINT 
  7. INSTALL HORN BUTTON ASSEMBLY

  8. CUSTOMIZE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM 

    See step  19 [04/2013 - 06/2014], or see step  19 [06/2014 - 08/2015], or see step  19 [08/2015 - 10/2016]

  9. PERFORM VARIABLE GEAR RATIO STEERING SYSTEM CALIBRATION (w/ VGRS) 

    Refer to CALIBRATION [04/2013 - 10/2016]
