Removal [04/2013 - 10/2016]: Procedure

Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - ]

1. Disconnect each connector from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly.
2. w/ Steering Heater:
   1. Disconnect the connector from the steering wheel heater control assembly.

3. Remove the steering wheel assembly set nut.

   Matchmark

4. Put matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft.
5. Using SST, remove the steering wheel assembly.
   • SST: 09950-50013 
     1. 09951-05010
     2. 09952-05010
     3. 09953-05020
     4. 09954-05070

   *b	Hold

   NOTE:

   Apply a small amount of grease to the threads and tip of SST (09953-05020) before use.

1. Remove the cruise control switch wire.

1. Remove the 4 screws, and separate the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) from the steering wheel assembly.

2. Disengage the 5 guides to remove the 2 shift paddle switches (transmission shift switch assemblies) with No. 1 switch wire from the steering wheel assembly.

1. Remove the 2 screws.

2. Disengage the clamp.
3. Disconnect the connector and remove the steering wheel heater control assembly from the lower steering wheel boss cover.

1. Remove the 2 screws and steering shake damper from the steering wheel sub-assembly.
