Installation [10/2016 - 11/2021]: Procedure

INSTALL STEERING VIBRATION ECU (w/o Steering Heater)
HINT:

Use the same procedure as for the steering vibration and heater ECU.

INSTALL SHIFT PADDLE SWITCH (TRANSMISSION SHIFT SWITCH ASSEMBLY)
for A760H: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

for AA81E: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
INSTALL STEERING SHAKE DAMPER
1. Install the steering shake damper to the steering wheel sub-assembly with the 2 screws.
  Torque: 2.4 N.m (24 kgf/cm, 21 in.lbf)
INSTALL STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY
See step 1
INSTALL CRUISE CONTROL MAIN SWITCH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
INSPECT AND ADJUST SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [09/2020 - ]

INSTALL STEERING WHEEL ASSEMBLY

Align the matchmarks on the steering wheel assembly and steering main shaft to install the steering wheel assembly.

Matchmark

Install the steering wheel assembly set nut.
Torque: 50 N.m (510 kgf/cm, 443 in.lbf)

Connect the connector.

Connect the 2 connectors to the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly.
