TC and CG Terminal Circuit [10/2017 - 09/2018]: Procedure

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2017 - 09/2018]

1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

2. Replace the ECM.

   for 8AR-FTS: Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ]

   for 2GR-FKS: Refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - ]

3. Using SST, connect terminals TC and CG of the DLC3.
   • SST: 09843-18040 
4. Check that the EPS warning light is blinking.

   OK

   The EPS warning light is blinking.

   HINT: 

   If troubleshooting has been carried out according to Problem Symptoms Table, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part.

   Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [10/2017 - 09/2020]

REPLACE POWER STEERING ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2013 - 09/2020] 

1. Disconnect the A91 or A106 ECM connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
