Diagnosis System [04/2013 - 10/2016]

  1. FUNCTION OF WARNING LIGHT AND MESSAGE 
    1. If a malfunction occurs during system operation, the master warning light in the combination meter comes on and "Check VGRS System" is displayed on the multi-information display to inform the driver of the system malfunction.
  2. DTC 
    1. Normal mode.
      1. DTCs are stored in the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) and output using the Techstream.

        Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [04/2013 - 10/2016] 

    2. Test mode.
      1. By switching from normal mode to test mode, the steering sensor and steering actuator assembly can be inspected.

        Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [04/2013 - 10/2016] 

        HINT: 

        Whether the system is in normal mode or test mode can be checked from the indication on the multi-information display. For details of the indication and how to check, refer to DTC Check/Clear.
