Monitor Description

The ECM monitors the signals received from the No. 1 throttle position sensor and stop light switch assembly. As the ECM monitors the STP signal of the stop light switch assembly and the VTA1 signal of the No. 1 throttle position sensor, if these signals do not correlate, a DTC will be stored.

  • ECM main CPU malfunction.
  • ECM sub CPU malfunction.

P061E-49 Internal Control Module Brake Signal Internal Electronic Failure Either of the following conditions is met (1 trip detection logic):
  • ECM main CPU malfunction.
  • ECM sub CPU malfunction.
 ECM Comes on DTC stored SAE Code: P061E
