Inspection [08/2015 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT FRONT ACCELERATION SENSOR
- Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 V in series.
- Connect the positive (+) end of the batteries to terminal 3 (SHB) of the acceleration sensor and the negative (-) end of the batteries to terminal 2 (SHG). Then measure the voltage between terminal 1 (SGFL) and terminal 2 (SHG).
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Front Acceleration Sensor)Top Bottom HINT:
When the front acceleration sensor is tilted, it may output a different value.
NOTE:- Do not apply higher than 6 V.
- Do not drop the front acceleration sensor. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
- Never place the front acceleration sensor upside down.
If the result is not as specified, replace the front acceleration sensor.
- Connect 3 dry batteries of 1.5 V in series.
