Precaution [08/2015 - 08/2019]
- WHEN USING TECHSTREAM WARNING:
Observe the following items for safety reasons:
- Read the Techstream instruction books before using the Techstream.
- Make sure that the Techstream cable is not caught on the pedals, shift lever and steering wheel when driving with the Techstream connected to the vehicle.
- When driving the vehicle for testing purposes while using the Techstream, 2 persons are required. One person drives the vehicle and the other operates the Techstream.
- INITIALIZATION NOTE:
- Perform Reset Memory (AT initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ECM (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - ] ).
- Perform Dynamic Laser Cruise Control System initialization after replacing the ECM (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
- Perform Registration (VIN registration) when replacing the ECM (Refer to REGISTRATION [08/2015 - ] ).
- Perform initialization (throttle position) after replacing the throttle body assembly or cleaning any throttle body components (Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
).
HINT:
The engine learned value cannot be reset by disconnecting the battery negative (-) terminal or removing the EFI and ETCS fuses.
