Headlight Cleaner Switch Circuit [08/2015 - 08/2019]: Procedure

1. Remove the headlight cleaner switch assembly (Refer to INSPECTION [08/2015 - ] ).

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   5 - 8	Headlight cleaner switch on	Below 1 Ω
   5 - 8	Headlight cleaner switch off	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE HEADLIGHT CLEANER SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

(Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )

Result: 

OK 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the G54 headlight cleaner switch connector.
2. Disconnect the A32 headlight cleaner control relay connector.
3. Remove the main body ECU (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 08/2019] ).
4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G54-8 - A32-2 (H)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G54-5 - A-15 (HRLY)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G54-8 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G54-5 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

OK 

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
