Inspection [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER RH) 
    1. Check the resistance.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        *a Component without harness connected
        (Occupant Detection Sensor (Front Seat Cushion Pad with Cover RH))

        Standard Resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 3 Front passenger seat occupied Below 100 Ω
        1 - 3 Front passenger seat not occupied 1 MΩ or higher

        If the result is not as specified, replace the occupant detection sensor (front seat cushion pad with cover RH).
