DTC C1A46: Yaw Rate Sensor [10/2015 - ]: Description

The driving support ECU assembly receives yawrate sensor signals from the yawrate sensor and skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) via CAN communication. If the driving support ECU assembly receives yawrate sensor malfunction signals from the yawrate sensor or skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), DTC C1A46 is stored.

DTC No. Detection Item DTC Detection Condition Trouble Area
C1A46 Yaw Rate Sensor
  • While the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, the driving support ECU assembly receives a yawrate sensor malfunction signal from yawrate sensor for approximately 10 seconds.
  • While the vehicle is being driven at a speed of 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, the driving support ECU assembly receives a yawrate sensor zero point malfunction signal from skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) for approximately 10 seconds.
  • Vehicle stability control system
  • Yawrate sensor assembly
  • Skid control ECU (Brake actuator assembly)
  • Driving support ECU assembly
