Removal [09/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2015 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2017 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 RELAY BLOCK COVER 
    1. Disengage the claw and guides to remove the No. 2 relay block cover as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
  4. REMOVE NO. 2 INTEGRATION RELAY 
    1. Disengage the claws.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Pull up the No. 2 integration relay as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the No. 2 integration relay, take care not to damage it.

    3. Disconnect the 3 connectors to remove the No. 2 integration relay.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the No. 2 integration relay, take care not to damage it.

  5. REMOVE NO. 1 INTEGRATION RELAY 
    1. Disengage the claws.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Pull up the No. 1 integration relay as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the No. 1 integration relay, take care not to damage it.

    3. Disconnect the 3 connectors to remove the No. 1 integration relay.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the No. 1 integration relay, take care not to damage it.
