DTC C1A41: Brake Request Value Mismatch between ENG / EHV and Driving Support ECU [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM) 
    1. Clear the DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    2. Check for DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

      OK

      Electronically controlled brake system DTC is not output.

    Result:  NG

    NG 

    GO TO ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM 

    (See page. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2014 - ] )

    Result:  OK

    OK

  2. CHECK FOR DTC (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM) 
    1. Clear the DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    2. Check for DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

      OK

      Hybrid control system DTC is not output.

    Result:  NG

    NG 

    GO TO HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM 

    (See page. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2014 - ] )

    Result:  OK

    OK

  3. CHECK FOR DTC (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM) 
    1. Clear the DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
    2. Check for DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

      OK

      DTC C1A41 is not output.

    Result:  OK

    OK 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK 

    (See page. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2014 - 10/2015] )

    Result:  NG

    NG

  4. REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU 
    1. Replace the driving support ECU with a new one (See page. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
      NOTE:

      When replacing the driving support ECU, always replace it with a new one and be sure to perform initialization (See page. Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ). If an ECU which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the ECU will not match the information from the vehicle, and as a result, a DTC may be stored.

    Result:  NEXT

  5. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Clear the DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

      DTC C1A41 is not output.

  6. REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the skid control ECU assembly with a new one (See page. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - ] ).

  7. CHECK FOR DTC (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM) 
    1. Clear the DTCs (See page. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

      OK

      DTC C1A41 is not output.
