Distance Control Switch Circuit [09/2014 - 10/2015]: Procedure

1. Check the Data List for proper functioning of the distance control switch (See page. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

2. Inspect the steering pad switch assembly (See page. Refer to INSTALLATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).

REPLACE STEERING PAD SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

(See page. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result:  OK

1. Remove the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly (See page. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] ).
2. Inspect the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly (See page. Refer to INSPECTION [09/2014 - 09/2016] ).

Result:  NG

REPLACE SPIRAL WITH SENSOR CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

(See page. Refer to REMOVAL [09/2014 - 10/2015] )

Result:  OK

1. Disconnect the N31 spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the N5 driving support ECU connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   N31-2 (ECC) - Body ground
