PRECAUTION FOR DISCONNECTING CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE:

When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, initialize the following systems after the cable is reconnected.

PRECAUTION WHEN USING TECHSTREAM
1. When using the Techstream with the engine switch off, connect the Techstream to the vehicle and turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less until communication between the Techstream and the vehicle begins. Then select the vehicle type under manual mode and enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Smart Access. While using the Techstream, periodically turn a courtesy light switch on and off at intervals of 1.5 seconds or less to maintain communication between the Techstream and the vehicle.

1. If replacing any of the following parts, refer to the registration procedure. Refer to REGISTRATION [07/2015 - ]
  1. Certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly)
  2. Steering lock actuator assembly (steering lock ECU)
  3. Electrical key transmitter sub-assembly
  4. ID code box (immobiliser code ECU)
  5. Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)
  6. DCM (telematics transceiver)*
