Skid Control ECU Communication Stop Mode (07/2015 -): Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC (BRAKE CONTROL SYSTEM) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      OK (DTC C1241 is not output) OK
      NG (DTC C1241 is output) NG

    Result:  NG

    NG 

    GO TO DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURES INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTC 

    (Refer to DTC C1241: Low Power Supply Voltage Malfunction (07/2015 -) )

    Result:  OK

    OK

  2. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU) BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the A40 brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) connector.

      (to Brake Actuator Assembly (Skid Control ECU)
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A40-22 (CANH) - A40-10 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    Result:  OK

    OK 

    REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU) 

    (Refer to REMOVAL (07/2015 -) )

    Result:  NG

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY (SKID CONTROL ECU)
