Power Steering ECU Communication Stop Mode (07/2015 -): Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (POWER STEERING ECU WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Disconnect the c1 power steering ECU with motor assembly connector.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

(to Power Steering ECU with Motor Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition c1-7 (CANH) - c1-8 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω
Result: NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (POWER STEERING ECU WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY)
Result: OK

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the c2 power steering ECU with motor assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(to Power Steering ECU with Motor Assembly) - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
