Freeze Frame Data [09/2015 - ]

  1. CHECK FREEZE FRAME DATA 

    HINT: 

    The ECU data indicating the vehicle status is stored in the ECU as a freeze frame data simultaneously as the DTC is stored.

    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Front Recognition Camera / Trouble Codes.
    5. From the DTC screen, select the DTC (snow icon displayed) to which freeze frame data is recorded.
  2. LIST OF FREEZE FRAME DATA 
    FRONT RECOGNITION CAMERA

    Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
    Blockage Status Displays whether there is a camera obstruction malfunction/
    ON or OFF    		 ON: Forward recognition camera obstructed
    OFF: Forward recognition camera not obstructed    		 -
    Blockage History Displays whether there is camera obstruction history/
    ON or OFF    		 ON: Forward recognition camera obstruction history exists
    OFF: Forward recognition camera obstruction history does not exist    		 -
    Low Temperature Status Displays whether there is a low temperature malfunction/
    ON or OFF    		 ON: Forward recognition camera low temperature malfunction exists
    OFF: Forward recognition camera low temperature malfunction does not exist    		 -
    High Temperature Status 1 Displays whether there is a high temperature malfunction/
    ON or OFF    		 ON: Forward recognition camera high temperature malfunction exists
    OFF: Forward recognition camera high temperature malfunction does not exist    		 -
    High Temperature History 1 Displays whether there is high temperature history/
    ON or OFF    		 ON: Forward recognition camera high temperature history exists
    OFF: Forward recognition camera high temperature history does not exist    		 -
    High Temperature Status 2 Displays whether there is a high temperature malfunction/
    ON or OFF    		 ON: Forward recognition camera high temperature malfunction exists
    OFF: Forward recognition camera high temperature malfunction does not exist    		 -
    High Temperature History 2 Displays whether there is high temperature history/
    ON or OFF    		 ON: Forward recognition camera high temperature history exists
    OFF: Forward recognition camera high temperature history does not exist    		 -
    Backlight Status Status of the Backlight Status /
    OFF or Driving Backlight.    		 Driving Backlight: Driving towards the sun
    OFF: Not driving towards the sun    		 -
    Vehicle Information (2WD/4WD) Vehicle information (drivetrain) stored in forward recognition camera/
    2WD, 4WD or Unknown    		 2WD: for 2WD
    4WD: for 4WD
    Unknown: Vehicle information not confirmed    		 -
