Power Source Circuit [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BATTERY) 
    1. Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      n1-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      n1-5 (BLB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V

    Result:  NG

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result:  OK

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR LH - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      n1-10 (BLGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    Result:  NG

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result:  OK

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BATTERY) 
    1. Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
      i1-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      i1-5 (BRB) - Body ground Engine switch off Below 1 V

    Result:  NG

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result:  OK

    OK

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BLIND SPOT MONITOR SENSOR RH - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      i1-10 (BRGD) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    Result:  OK

    OK 

    PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

    (Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [09/2015 - ] )

    Result:  NG

    NG
