Terminals Of Ecu [04/2013 - ]

  1. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Position Memory System) 
    1. Disconnect the N18 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N18-11 (B) - N18-12 (GND) LG - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      N18-12 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N18 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N18-15 (DOWN) - N18-12 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      N18-15 (DOWN) - N18-12 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      N18-18 (LED) - N18-12 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      N18-18 (LED) - N18-12 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch turned off Below 1 V
      N18-20 (UP) - N18-12 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      N18-20 (UP) - N18-12 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network master switch assembly may be malfunctioning.

  2. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY (w/o Seat Position Memory System) 
    1. Disconnect the N27 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N27-21 (B) - N27-17 (GND) LG - W-B Power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      N27-17 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N27 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      N27-20 (DOWN) - N27-17 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      N27-20 (DOWN) - N27-17 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      N27-19 (LED) - N27-17 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      N27-19 (LED) - N27-17 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch turned off Below 1 V
      N27-22 (UP) - N27-17 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window regulator switch not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      N27-22 (UP) - N27-17 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, driver door power window regulator switch pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the multiplex network master switch assembly may be malfunctioning.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the N4 power window regulator switch assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N4-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N4 power window regulator switch assembly connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N4-8 (LED) - N4-5 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      N4-2 (UP) - N4-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), power window regulator switch assembly not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      N4-2 (UP) - N4-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      N4-2 (UP) - N4-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      N4-2 (UP) - N4-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), front passenger door power window moving, power window regulator switch assembly fully pulled up (Auto operation) Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator switch assembly may be malfunctioning.

  4. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR LH DOOR) 
    1. Disconnect the O8 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O8-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O8 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O8-8 (LED) - O8-5 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      O8-2 (UP) - O8-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      O8-2 (UP) - O8-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) pulled halfway up (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      O8-2 (UP) - O8-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully open 11 to 14 V
      O8-2 (UP) - O8-5 (GND) R - W-B Power window motor UP output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) fully pulled up (Auto operation) Below 1 V

      O8-10 (DOWN) - O8-5 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      O8-10 (DOWN) - O8-5 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      O8-10 (DOWN) - O8-5 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V
      O8-10 (DOWN) - O8-5 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN output Engine switch on (IG), rear LH door power window moving, rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) fully pushed down (Auto operation) Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH door) may be malfunctioning.

  5. CHECK REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (FOR RH DOOR) 
    1. Disconnect the O3 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      O3-5 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the O3 rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      O3-8 (LED) - O3-5 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for RH door) may be malfunctioning.

  6. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER DOOR) 
    1. Disconnect the N17 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      N17-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N17-2 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N17 power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      N17-5 (LED) - N17-1 (GND) GR - W-B LED illumination signal Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

      N17-7 (DOWN) - N17-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) not pushed or pulled 11 to 14 V
      N17-7 (DOWN) - N17-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window moving, multiplex network master switch assembly (driver door power window regulator switch) pushed halfway down (Manual operation) Below 1 V
      N17-7 (DOWN) - N17-1 (GND) G - W-B Power window motor DOWN input Engine switch on (IG), driver door power window fully closed 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for driver door) may be malfunctioning.

  7. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR FRONT PASSENGER DOOR) 
    1. Disconnect the N2 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      N2-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N2-2 (B) - Body ground Y - Body ground Power supply Always 11 to 14 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the N2 power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, the power window regulator motor assembly (for front passenger door) may be malfunctioning.

  8. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FOR REAR LH DOOR) 
    1. Disconnect the O7 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door) connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the O7 power window regulator motor assembly (for rear LH door) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the MB main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
