Removal [09/2014 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the auxiliary battery negative (-) terminal notices before proceeding with work (See article. Refer to PRECAUTION [09/2014 - 10/2015] Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2015 - ] ).
- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

- REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See article. Refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2014 - 10/2015] Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2015 - ] ).
- REMOVE ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 or PROCEDURE - Step 1
- REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 or PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 or PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 or PROCEDURE - Step 29
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER
- REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER
- Move the lock levers in the direction indicated by the arrow to release the 3 connector locks. Disconnect the 4 connectors from the injector driver.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Lock Lever *a Release *b Lock with Connector - Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and injector driver.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Bolt *2 Nut NOTE:Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
- Move the lock levers in the direction indicated by the arrow to release the 3 connector locks. Disconnect the 4 connectors from the injector driver.
